Email Hack [Tip 2 of 4]

A gate held shut by a lock and chain

Previously I went over the importance of having a process to follow when selling. I also highlighted the fact that without an easily repeatable process any success you have is likely to be short-lived. In this post I would like to take a slightly closer look at that and offer my second hack on how you can ensure that your emails effectively reach their intended destinations. Whatever the situation may be if you are unable to contact with your prospect then guess what, you won’t be able to make that sale. Here is my tip for finding a person’s email address no matter how hard they may try to hide it. >> Because once you know who to contact you need to know how to contact them.

To find a person’s email address I strongly recommend you download Rapportive. Rapportive is a Google Chrome browser extension which not only shows you everything about your contacts from right inside your inbox but it also helps to verify an individual’s email address. This is handy when trying to email those individuals you are not already connected to; perfect for instances when you don’t know a person’s email address. By having Rapportive turned on when you are composing an email you can quickly check to see if the email address you want to send to is linked to a person’s social media accounts, thus verifying that it is valid. The website has a fantastic article on how you can do this yourself which I have linked to here. Simply put, by combining your Rapportive efforts with additional websites such as you can effectively verify and find most working email addresses. Try it for yourself and let me know what you think in the comment section below.
